Sutherland Falls is believed to be the tallest waterfall in New Zealand with a height of 580 meters (1,914 ft). It is located near Milford Sound on the South Island of New Zealand. Sutherland is worth seeing a waterfall as it drains out a beautiful Lake Quill which is literally dramatic. The Lake Quill results in waterfalls in three cascades: the upper has a length of 229 m, the middle with 248 m, and the lower one is 103 m.

Many trekkers have hiked Sutherland Falls through the Milford track, particularly from New Zealand. It is considered to be the low season as it undergoes unpredictability of the weather. 5. Iguazu Falls, Argentina & Brazil

6. Angel Falls, Venezuela

Angel Falls is located in Venezuela with a height of 979 meters (3,212 ft) and a plunge of 807 m (2,648 ft). So, it is the world’s largest waterfall, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the Gran Sabana region of Bolivar State. The Falls are so high that before reaching the ground, the strong wind accompanies the water and turns it into mist. The falls are not so easy to reach.

You, therefore, have to first reach the town of Canaima and then have to boat for one day to take a ride to the falls. The height at 979 meters, consists mostly of the main plunge but also contains almost 400 meters of the sloped cascade. Below is the second drop of 30 meters beyond the rapids. The Churn River drops the water, so, a free fall sets into the white water down the rapids.

7. Plitvice Waterfalls, Croatia

The Plitvice Waterfalls consists of 16 cascading lakes in Plitvice National Park in Croatia. So, it becomes such a gorgeous sight. The specialty of these falls is that distinct shades are emitted out of them, which show the shades of emerald and turquoise crystals. 8. Dudhsagar Falls, India

9. Ban Gioc Waterfall. Vietnam

Ban Gioc Falls lies on the international border between China and Vietnam, more specifically between the Karch Hills of Daxin Country, Guangxi. Ban Gioc is the largest waterfall in Asia in the ranking. Quay Son River feeds the falls and divides the two countries. The water creates a sound that is literally stunning and produces thunders over the three tiers.

The falls lie 272 km (169 m) north of Hanoi. The falls lead to three-tiered cascades and have the back of a pretty green landscape. It feels like it tells a fairy tale from the points of the mountains. On China’s side, there are more than 70 meters of water-dropping.

10. Kaieteur Falls, Guyana

The world’s largest single-drop fall is Kaieteur Falls according to volume. The height of the falls is 226 meters (741 ft) from its plunge measurement over a sandstone and conglomerate cliff to the first break. Kaieteur is the most powerful waterfall when its height and width are combined and, therefore, lead to a flow of an average of 663 cubic meters in a second (23,400 ft feet per second).

Kaieteur Falls is situated in the Pajaro River in the Kaieteur National Park, and the Amazon Rainforest provides it with sitting in the Potaro-Siparuin region of Guyana. However, many tourists are attracted to Guyana due to the falls. The falls are four times higher than Niagara Falls and two times more than Victoria Falls.

The water flows from the Falls over a series of steep cascades with a total height of 251 meters (741 ft). It is difficult to say when to visit the falls but it would be better to go to Guyana from March to June, as it can be an appropriate time to have your adventure.
